                                access to best-performing & most desirable schools, schoolmate & family relationships, and neighborhood safety & stability.

                            a The 2010 Board will hire our next long-term Superintendent, deciding whether to "promote from within" (as with our last two choices)
                                or whether to conduct a statewide or nationwide search for the best-qualified candidate. Regardless of the selection process, the Board
                                you elect will determine the Superintendent's compensation package, accountability standards and performance measures.

                                      Ina has consistently opposed high-cost capital projects with low educational return, expensive Consultants, drastic Employee layoffs,
                                      unnecessary legal expenditures in tough economic times, dipping into mandated Reserves & putting programs at risk by increasing debt!!

                                      Ina spoke out against Administration's request for a raise costing $20,000-per-year, on the heels of Staff and Teacher reductions!
                                      Ina called for Administration's reconsideration of recommendations for additional Classified Staff cutbacks for this school year!
                                      Ina strenuously objected to (and voted against) hiring a $132,000 consultant, rather than spending the money on retaining teachers!!
