best-performing & most desirable schools, schoolmate & family
relationships, and neighborhood safety & stability.

The 2010 Board will hire
our next long-term Superintendent, deciding
whether to "promote from within" (as with our last two choices)
or whether to conduct a statewide or nationwide search for the
best-qualified candidate. Regardless of the selection process, the
Board
you elect will determine the Superintendent's compensation package,
accountability standards and performance measures.

Employee layoffs,

legal expenditures in tough economic times, dipping into mandated Reserves & putting programs at risk by
